Launched in 1947, Talbots established itself as a classic New England brand and enjoyed great success during its first fifty years. However, as time passed, the brand stayed still becoming stagnant resulting in the loss of a previously loyal customer base and a reputation that wasn’t attracting new customers. The end result - a rapid decline in sales.
2009 brought the opportunity for revitalization. With it’s classic sensibility remaining at the heart of its DNA, we addressed every aspect of the brand - logo, packaging, catalog and web design, photography direction, styling, merchandise, store design - everything. The goal was to bring this previously coveted brand into the 21st century - Tradition Transformed was born.
